Biography:

Jack Mahoney is in his first season with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2024. He signed on February 22, 2024 after playing his first two seasons with the Milwaukee Milkmen of the American Association. In 65 games over two years (two starts), he went 2-3 with a 4.29 ERA, including a 3.47 mark in 2023. Combined, he struck out 101 hitters and walked only 32 over 86 innings.

Mahoney attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for five years. He went 9-11 overall as a Panther with a 6.46 ERA over 51 games (24 starts). In his best season, as a senior, he had a 3-1 record and 4.06 ERA with 33 strikeouts in 31 innings. Prior to college, he went to Appleton West High School in Appleton, Wisconsin.
