Biography:

Alex Pup enters his first season with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2024. He signed as a free agent on December 7, 2023 after spending the previous two years with the East Side Diamond Hoppers of the United Shore League. In 87 total games there, he hit .236 with three homers and 12 stolen bases. In 2023, he was named the USPBL Defensive Player of the Year.

Pup attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he played three years for the Falcons as their starting shortstop. He was a .263 hitter overall with a .343 on-base percentage and posted a career-best .297 batting average in 2020. He played in all but four games over his three years in school and started every game as a junior in 2021. Alex attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Illinois.
