Biography:
Joe Encarnacion is in his first season with the ThunderBolts in 2024. It's his third as a pro. He signed with the Bolts on December 7, 2023. Encarnacion's professional career began in 2022, when he signed with the Rocky Mountain Vibes of the Pioneer League. In two seasons there, he hit .265 with six home runs and 54 RBIs in 80 total games.
He attended Division II Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida for three years, compiling a .248 batting average and .331 on-base percentage. As a senior in 2022, he slugged five home runs and drove in 25 runs. His first two years of college were spent at Monroe, where he hit .297 as a sophomore and .288 overall. In 90 games over two seasons, he had 33 extra base hits, 57 runs scored and 58 RBIs. Joe attended Middle College High School at LaGuardia Community College in Queens, New York. |
