Biography:

Dante Maietta is in his first professional season and first with the ThunderBolts in 2025. He signed as a free agent on June 10, 2025 out of Clarke University, where he was a Second Team All-Heartland Conference performer as a senior. He went 7-1 with a 4.89 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 77.1 innings.

Maietta was also an all-conference performer as a junior, when he had a 7-3 record and 4.10 ERA. Overall, in two years with the Pride, he struck out 163 batters in 152 innings. He began his college career at Waubonsie Community College, where he went 7-6 with a 5.19 ERA over 25 total games (17 starts). He also batted .299 over 89 games for Waubonsie as a shortstop. Dante attended Morton West High School in Berwyn, Illinois.
