Biography:
James Dunlap is in his first professional season with the ThunderBolts in 2025. He signed as a free agent on June 3, 2025 after completing his senior year at Catawba College in North Carolina. In 60 games for the Indians, he hit .320 with a .397 on-base percentage. He drove in 37 runs and stole seven bases.
Dunlap spent two years at North Dakota State University, where he was named Second Team All-Summit League in 2023. He led the team that year with a .320 batting average. In 2024, he repeated as an All-Summit performer, getting Honorable Mention in the conference as he batted .262 with 36 RBIs in 45 games. He also spent one year at Dodge City Community College, batting .372 with a 1.008 OPS. He started his college career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he appeared in 37 games over two years. He attended Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. |
