Biography:
Justin Lilly is a right handed pitcher out of Campbell University. He pitched in 16 games (13 starts) in 2008 and three games (all starts) in 2009 for the Gateway Grizzlies. Over two seasons at Campbell, Lilly compiled a 6- 10 record. In 2007 summer play, he threw a no-hitter for the Outer Banks Daredevils, striking out 15. His first two collegiate years were spent at Louisburg Junior College.
His rookie season with the Grizzlies was a successful one. He was 7-5 with a 3.90 ERA, including a stretch between June 26 and August 13 in which he went 5-2 with a 2.34 ERA. In limited 2009 action with Gateway, he was 0-1 with a 9.75 ERA. |
