ThunderBolts and Crushers SUSPENDED

Play Suspended

CRESTWOOD, IL – The ThunderBolts and Lake Erie Crushers were interrupted by rain in the third inning Thursday night. Play was suspended with the Crushers ahead 2-0. The game will be resumed the week of August 15 when Lake Erie returns to Crestwood.

The game was scoreless after two innings before the Crushers broke through in the top of the third. With two men on base and one out, Jordan Dean singled home both runners to give Lake Erie a 2-0 lead.

Brandon Murray singled and Sean Hurley walked with two outs before the rain picked up and forced a delay. When play resumes, the Crushers will have two outs and men at first and second base in the top of the third inning.

Due to weather tonight's game vs. Lake Erie was SUSPENDED. Here is what you need to know about the reschedule date and information if you had game tickets for this game.

- The game was stopped and never resumed with Lake Erie leading 2-0 in the top of the 3rd inning. This game will be resumed when the Crushers return to Standard Bank Stadium on Tuesday, August 15th. Gametime is 6:05 pm and it will be nine innings. Game two will start about 30 minutes after game one and it will be seven innings long. It is a $2 Ticket Tuesday and "Boomer Bank" giveaway from First Midwest Bank.

- Fans holding tickets to Thursday's suspension can bring those into the box office and exchange them for any game during the rest of the 2017 season. You do not have to use your ticket for the reschedule date. Any date is good for exchange. You can exchange your tickets in either advance or on the day-of-game.

- Group leaders that were in the suites, deck, and #WinCity Party Patio will be contacted by their rep next week after the holiday.

Thank you for your patience and see you later this year!

The ThunderBolts will head on the road to begin a five-game trip on Friday night in Traverse City. TJ Santiago (0-1, 17.18) will get the game one start for the Bolts against the Beach Bums’ Kramer Champlin (4-2, 3.38). First pitch from Wuerfel Park is set for 6:05 and the broadcast can be heard on WXAV 88.3 FM and wxav.com.
