Game Postponed - MDA Jersey Off the Back Rescheduled08/16/2009 4:30 PM
 The game starts at 6:05PM. Gates will open at 5PM. The ThunderBolts will be wearing customized 1982 St. Louis Cardinals throwback style baby blue pullover jerseys with white and black trim. The design features the ThunderBolts lettering in script with two images of Boomer sitting atop the baseball bat. One Boomer is showing a number 1 and the other a number 2 for the championships the ThunderBolts have won over the last two seasons. These jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game versus the Evansville Otters. When asked about this annual event, MDA Fundraising Coordinator Marcy Brandis stated, " "We are honored to be partnering again with the Windy City ThunderBolts as we auction off special "Jerseys Off Their Backs" with the company of some of our local client families. We cannot express enough gratitude for the support the fans show for this exciting event and are proud to tell them that the funds raised over the past 3 years has helped send 38 kids to MDA Summer Camp!
