Opening weekend has finally arrived in Windy City! All weekend long the Windy City ThunderBolts celebrate Opening Day with great promotions and giveaways. The fun starts Friday, May 16th when the Bolts faceoff against the Frontier Greys at 7:05 pm at Standard Bank Stadium. The first 2,000 fans will receive magnetic schedules courtesy of Standard Bank. It’s also Fill R’ Up Friday courtesy of Budweiser with domestic draft beers only 1.25 and domestic bottles are only 2.25. After the game, kids can get to run the bases.
The fun continues on Saturday, May 17th at 6:05 for game two of the series versus the Greys. Stick around for a post game fireworks spectacular sponsored by Lakeshore Beverage.
It’s a matinee finale at 2:05 pm vs. the Greys as well as the game to benefit St. Chris School. 100% of advance box seats ticket sales will go straight to the fight to keep St. Chris School open and running. After the game, fans can get autographs from the players as well as get on the field and play catch in the outfield.
