ThunderBolts fall 4-1 in opener v. River City

Rasclas 4 Bolts 1

CRESTWOOD, IL – Dane Stone held the ThunderBolts to just two hits over seven innings as the Bolts the Bolts opened their final homestand of the year with a 4-1 loss to the River City Rascals Tuesday night.

River City (48-37) jumped on the scoreboard early with a run in the second inning. Hector Crespo singled, stole second, moved to third on an error and crossed the plate on a Josh Ludy groundout.

They added another run the following inning. Curran Redal singled and scored on a two-out Zach Kometani double.
