Biography:
Eric Hildebrand begins his first year with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2024. He signed as a free agend on March 2, 2024 after playing his first two seasons with the Chicago White Sox organization, both in the Rookie level Arizona League. In 12 total appearances over those two years, he had no record and an 11.25 ERA. He struck out eight over 12 innings.
Eric attended Purdue University for three years, making 42 total appearances, all out of the bullpen. He finished his college career with a 4-3 record and 5.62 ERA. In his best season, as a junior in 2021, he led the tam with 16 appearances and posted a 4.19 ERA. Prior to Purdue, he pitched for one year at Jackson College in Michigan, where he was the ace of the staff, starting nine games and leading the team with a 2.83 ERA.
