Biography:

Garrett Sheffield enters his first season with the ThunderBolts and second as a pro in 2024. He signed as a free agent on Juanuary 30, 2024. In his rookie campaign, he appeared in 11 total games between Grand Junction of the Pioneer League and Spire City in the Atlantic League. He collected five hits and three stolen bases.

Garrett completed his collegiate career in 2022 at Southeastern University, where he won an NAIA national championship. He played in 41 games, primarily as a pinch runner, and scored 40 runs with 12 stolen bases. He went 6-for-12 at the plate. He also played one year at the University of West Georgia, where he went 5-for-20 with six runs scored in nine games. He hit a combined .267 over two years at Shelton State Community College. Garrett, who is the son of former Major League all-star Gary Sheffield, attended Dade Christian School in Miami, Florida.
