Biography:
Tyler Naumann is in his first season with the ThunderBolts and third as a pro in 2024. He signed as a free agent on January 7, 2024 after pitching for the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League from 2022-2023. Over the two years, he appeared in 37 games (32 starts) and went 7-12 with a 6.29 ERA. He was the top pitcher on the staff as a rookie in '22, posting team bests with 82 strikeouts and a 5.36 ERA.
Tyler attended Jacksonville University for three years, going a combined 3-2 with a 5.05 ERA over 48 games (eight starts). In the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, he allowed only one earned run in 11.2 innings. Overall, he had 133 strikeouts in 108.2 innings. Prior to Jacksonville, he pitched for two years at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where he went 8-7 with a 5.05 ERA in 27 total games (14 starts).
