Biography:
Carsie Walker is in his second year with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2024. He was acquired in a trade with the Quebec Capitales on August 14, 2023 after playing the first year of his pro career in the United Shore League with the Utica Unicorns. In his inaugural campaign with the Bolts, he pitched in five games (two starts) and had a 7.36 ERA. He appeared in three games with Utica in 2022 and 16 more (seven starts) in 2023, when he went 2-4, with a 4.07 ERA.
Walker was a three-year player at Clarke University in Iowa, going 6-1 over 29 games. After pitching primarily as a starter in his junior season, he transitioned to the bullpen as a senior and posted a 2.67 ERA over 18 appearances with 36 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. Prior to Clarke, he attended Robert Morris University in Chicago and went 2-1 over three starts before the 2020 season was suspended. Carsie attended Jackson Community College and Kalamazoo Valley Community College over his first two years of school and Saugatuck High School in Saugatuck, Michigan. |
