Biography:

Antonio Saldana begins his first professional season with the ThunderBolts in 2023. He signed as a free agent on December 21, 2022. Saldana was a 38th round selection of the San Francisco Giants in the 2017 Amateur Entry Draft but elected not to sign.

Instead, he attended Iowa Western Community College. After one year there, Antonio moved on to Heartland Community College and started seven games over two years. He went a combined 5-0 with a 5.26 ERA. In his first year with the Hawks, he struck out 42 hitters in just 25.1 innings. He closed up his collegiate career at Southeastern University. For high school, he attended Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Illinois.
