The Windy City ThunderBolts could not survive without its corporate sponsors.  We would like to thank our sponsors from the 2013 season in a very special way.  Every week we are going to feature a particular sponsor in our "ThunderBolts Thank You Series."

This week we look at Advocate Health Care.

  Advocate and the ThunderBolts:  Advocate Heath Care has a major presence at Standard Bank Stadium and with the Windy City ThunderBolts.  Three of their hospitals work with us on a sponsorship and major event level.  Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, and Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest were all big parts of the 2013 ThunderBolts' season.

Advocate Christ Medical Center holds their annual softball game against Advocate South Suburban Hospital at Standard Bank Stadium before a ThunderBolts game.  They host the event for its employees with a special all-you-can eat event at the park's concession stands.  The ballpark is sold out with Advocate employees as they watch their friends play a pregame softball game which is followed by the ThunderBolts game.  Finally the ThunderBolts hold a special fireworks show after the game to celebrate the event.

Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn has stadium signage and an ad in our program.  Their sign is one of the more prominent in the park located above the left-center field wall with their customary cartoon animals peaking over.

Advocate South Suburban Hospital sponsors a weekly promotion at Standard Bank Stadium in addition to their signage.  Advocate South Suburban holds Wellness Wednesday every Wednesday night game at the park.  Staff members attend each Wednesday night game promoting healthy lifestyles and injury prevention.  They also have mirrored signs behind home plate visible throughout the park.
