Biography:
Catcher Dan Jordan was acquired from the Sioux City Explorers of the American Association in exchange for a player to be named later on June 12, 2009. Dan appeared in 16 games for Sioux City this season, hitting .245 with three doubles, one home run, and six RBI.

Dan was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 27th round in 2005 out of Broward College in Florida. He spent time with the Bristol Sox of the Appalachian League, the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League, and the Kannapolis Intimidators of the South Atlantic League, combining for a .212 batting average with 17 doubles, 11 home runs, and 56 RBI in 131 career games.
