Mike Lucas

Bio: Mike was named General Manager of the club on October 28, 2009 and begins his seventh season with the ThunderBolts in 2010 after serving as Assistant General Manager with the team for two years in 2008-09. Mike leads and guides his staff in all aspects of the team. Mike has experience in almost every branch of the team since he started with the ThunderBolts in 2004. He served as Director of Media & Promotions in 2004, Director of Stadium Operations in 2005, Director of Baseball Operations in 2006, Director of Operations in 2007, before being promoted as Assistant General Manager in 2008. He graduated high school from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Illinois in 1996. He started his college years at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois earning his associates degree in 1999. He then moved on to Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois earning his bachelor's degree (Mass Communications) in 2001 and his masters (Sport Management) in 2004. He served an marketing internship with the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL in 2003.
