Jon Mrugala
Bullpen Coach
Jon Mrugala was named Bullpen Coach of the ThunderBolts on October 30, 2009 filling in the void left when Pascual Santiago was promoted to Bench Coach before the start of the 2009 season.
Jon has been a big part of Mike Kashirsky's success as he was the Bench Coach for Mike at Moraine Valley Community College. He helped Mike lead the then-struggling Cyclones to two straight 30-win seasons for a final Moraine Valley record of 69-37. Kashirsky took Jon with him to Robert Morris University - Illinois (NAIA) also as Bench Coach. In 2009 Jon was part of the staff that turned around a 2008 team that went from 5-34 to a 36-19 record. He will hold the same position with the Eagles in 2010.
Jon was an all-conference ball player in high school at Oak Lawn Community. He played in college at St. Joesph College (NCAA D-2).
