ThunderBolts Offer Fundraising Opportunities

Crestwood, IL – The Windy City ThunderBolts are once again offering the Thunderaiser Fundraising Program for the 2007 season. Non-profit organizations can sell tickets to a ThunderBolts game and keep a portion of the money for themselves while enjoying a great night out at the ballpark.

Fundraisers can be held on any ThunderBolts game from Sunday through Thursday. Tickets are $8.00 and organizations earn $3.00 back on each ticket they sell up to 499. For 500 tickets or more, organizations earn $4.00 back per ticket. There is a minimum of 100 tickets to do a fundraiser. The program is ideal for little leagues, charity groups, scout troops, and other organizations looking for an easy and fun way to raise money.

There are two ways to conduct the ticket ordering portion of the fundraiser. The ThunderBolts can provide order forms for groups to use. Once the money is collected and given to the ThunderBolts, the tickets will be distributed to the group leader. The other option is to sell the actual tickets. A credit card is required to hold the seats before the tickets are printed.

In addition to the ticket money, organizations also have the opportunity to take part in a 50/50 split the pot raffle on the night of their game to generate more funds. It is also possible to set up a table for a silent auction or other raffle items. The ThunderBolts have an incentive program that rewards top sellers at the game. The incentives include throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, running onto the field in uniform for the national anthem, and singing the 7th inning stretch. The 50/50 raffle and incentive program are only available to the first fundraiser on a given game, so it is important to pick a date early.
