ThunderBolts Thank You Series: A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank

The Windy City ThunderBolts could not survive without its corporate sponsors. We would like to thank our sponsors from the 2013 season in a very special way. Every week we are going to feature a particular sponsor in our "ThunderBolts Thank You Series."

This week we look at A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank

About A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank:  Over 100 years ago, Arthur J. Smith arrived from New York and used his financial expertise to provide the dream of home ownership to the growing population of Chicago. Today, as the A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank, the same commitment to home ownership and community banking that Arthur believed in remains. From its Midlothian and Orland Park locations,
the Bank offers a full line of retail savings and lending services in addition to insurance and investment products. A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank truly does make it easy for you. They encourage you to stop in and say hello. You’ll see why their customers have continued to bank with them through the generations.

A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank and the ThunderBolts:  The partnership with A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank began during the 2005 season. The sponsorship includes signage, a game day giveaway, as well as tickets. A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank generally selects a Tuesday in June or July for their giveaway. Over the years, they have sponsored giveaways, including a yo-yo, mini-
bat, logo baseball, and seat cushions. The last few seasons, A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank has sponsored more practical giveaways, including a bowl / cup combo, tumbler, and Tupperware. This season, they are sponsoring a drawstring backpack giveaway on Tuesday, June 14, 2014. In addition, A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank has treated members of their A.J. Club Elite to an executive suite at a ThunderBolts home game.

The ThunderBolts would like to thank A.J. Smith Federal Savings Bank for their continued support of the SouthSide's minor league baseball team!
